ASE to Teach Hazard Communication Course

Julia Diebol, Ph.D., C.P.S.M., and Raina J. Shah, M.S.E., C.P.S.M., CPE will be teaching a course on human factors in occupational and consumer hazard communication at the spring meeting of the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication this April in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This course is intended to provide hazard communication practitioners and policymakers with a better understanding of how people use and process information. ASE consultants have lectured in numerous conference and association settings such as the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO), Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC), and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). They have also presented work at national safety agencies such as the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG).
