Jared P. Frantz, M.S.E.

Mr. Frantz is a Project Analyst in the Human Factors and Product Safety Group.

His interests include product and occupational safety, transportation human factors, risk assessment and communication, human factors in accident causation, and slip resistance of walking surfaces. He holds an M.S.E. from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering, where he has specialized in product and occupational safety and human factors engineering/ergonomics. He also holds certificates from St. Louis University for programs in Product Safety Management and Regulatory Compliance and from Northwestern University for Advanced Accident Reconstruction Utilizing Human Factors Research.

Mr. Frantz twice served as an instructional assistant for the Safety Management course in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. As an undergraduate, he was captain of the University of Michigan Mock Trial team leading the program to two consecutive top four finishes at the national tournament.
